Innova – expantion to Europe

innovadiscs

It was expected.  INNOVA, the biggest manufacturer of discs and equipment for the sport of Disc Golf from USA, has started it’s official expansion to Europe. It was a matter of time, since about 75% of the marked belong to them anyway.

As for today, there is now production of discs in Europe and probably this expansion will bring disc molding machines to Europe which should in theory make discs cheeper and will finally balance prices on both sides of the pond. But for now it is just a speculation.

So far the official INNOVA EUROPE web page was launched. Operations director and a contact person is well known in Europe and Russia. It is our partner and an owner of DISCMANIA company Jussi Meresmaa from Tampere, Finland. (Both DISCMANIA and MILLENNIUM, produce their discs on INNOVA machines).

In any way it is yet another positive and big step in promoting sport of DIsc Golf in Europe.
